The last three days feel as if we have been transported to South Central Alaska. Last night the low was 18 degrees. While not super cold by Alaska standards, it beats the heck out of the ‘normal’ low of 40 around here. Additionally, the Puget Sound area had from 1 to 5 feet of snow, even in the lowlands of the I-5 corridor. We in the banana belt only had about 8 inches. It’s getting warmer today with another foot of snow forecast tonight.

We have just about got all the bulbs in the ground for next spring. As Cisco Morris says, we must have planted 4,326,932 bulbs. At least, it seemed that way to me.
Of course, when they all look great next spring I’ll be proud.
The rain finally came with a vengance last week. We are huddled down under the lash of three North Pacific storms in a row. We won’t see any break until Thursday. Bonnie had a surprise visit from our only Grand Daughter, Sydney last weekend. Jeff, Sarah, Jake, Tanner and I worked to keep it a secret. Bonnie had never seen Sydney in person. A good time was had by all for a very brief weekend.
